Banana cream pie is a perfect combination of creamy texture, light layers and refreshing banana flavor which brings sweetness and softness to every bite. The cake combines tradition and modern taste — reminiscent of classic cream pie, but gains a new dimension thanks to bananas that provide natural sweetness and juiciness.

Ideal choice for celebrations, family gatherings or when you want to treat yourself and your loved ones to something special. Light, tasty and visually appealing — there's always a request for another piece. It's best chilled, the next day, when the flavors meld. It can also be combined with other tropical fruits for a summer version.

Za 4 KOLIČINA Veličina porcije oko 200 g

Za kore:

250 gr lisnatog testa (gotove kore ili domaće)

Za krem:

500 ml mleka
4 žumanca od jaja
100 gr šećera
40 gr brašna ili gustina
1 kesica vanilin šećera
80 gr margarina ili putera

Za fil od banana:

3 banane (srednje veličine)

Za završni sloj:

200 ml slatke pavlake ili šlag kreme
1 kašika šećera u prahu (opciono)

Uputstva za bananu krempitu

  1. Ispeći kore ili koristiti gotove lisnate kore i ostaviti da se ohlade.
  2. U šerpi zakuvati mleko sa šećerom i vanilom.
  3. Posebno umutiti žumanca sa brašnom i malo mleka.
  4. Dodati smesu u ključalo mleko i mešati dok se ne zgusne.
  5. U vruć krem dodati margarin i dobro sjediniti.
  6. Oljuštiti banane i iseći ih na kolutove.
  7. Na prvu koru naneti sloj krema, zatim poređati kolutove banana.
  8. Prekriti drugom korom i ponovo premazati kremom.
  9. Ponoviti postupak dok se ne utroše sve kore i krem.
  10. Na vrh staviti sloj šlaga ili umućene pavlake.
  11. Ostaviti krempitu u frižideru nekoliko sati da se stegne.

Banana krempita je desert koji najbolje dolazi do izražaja kada se dobro ohladi, jer tada banane puste svoju punoću ukusa i krem postaje čvrst i lagan. Za bogatiju varijantu može se dodati malo čokolade ili kakao praha u krem, dok ljubitelji blažih ukusa mogu ostati na klasičnoj kombinaciji. Savršeno ide uz kafu ili čašu mleka.
